The Plot
Four lovers are called before Theseus, Duke of Athens, to settle a dispute of the heart. Deciding to elope, they find themselves in the magical, passionate and sinister world of night, ruled over by Oberon and Titania. They become caught in the King and Queen’s quarrel, and at the mercy of the mischievous Puck. Meanwhile, a group of hapless Mechanicals are attempting to rehearse a play for Theseus’ wedding day, and also become embroiled in Puck’s meddling. All this and everything must be resolved by dawn...
